Orientation is practically over. There's only the 'wear orange shirts to direct losties' thing on Monday-Wednesday, the 'Thank You Event', and two Saturday orientations left. I may grab some photos off facebook later to share with you guys. Peer Network (PN) for the most part was a lot of fun, albeit tiring. For those of you I haven't spoken to for awhile, PN is this volunteer student group organised and chosen (after an intensive interview process) by the university to assist in welcoming and helping new students adjust to the uni. Well, that's it in a nutshell.
I met a lot of wonderful people who I hope I'll have random encounters with during the semester! But yes, the point of this post? To ask your opinions. I'm 90% certain that I'll be able to attend the 'Thank You Event', which is a free bowling night, but we must dress up as something starting with 'P' or 'N'. It must be PG rated, and it's not to be anything lame like 'person'. So, any ideas?
At the moment I'm thinking of going as 'newspaper', or maybe a 'newspaper princess' because I'm thinking of making a dress out of newspaper or something. Although there's the issue of transportation as I don't really want to travel an hour on the train and roam around to the event wearing newspaper...
Oh yeah, no pirates or nerds please because apparently majority of the PNs are planning to go as those.
I'm sorry for my lack of presence, but I've been so exhausted this week. Hopefully will be more around now, even though uni starts on Monday *facepalm*
