School!

Ahhhh...today is Caleb's first day of "school." It's actually Mother's Morning Out, but he likes to call it school. He plays, does crafts, plays some more, eats lunch then comes home. It's 3 hours off for mom, once a week. Last year, he went for 5 weeks, until the end of the school year. This is the first time I've come home during his school. It's so quiet here. I have the windows open with the fresh breeze pouring into the apartment. It sounds so nice and smells great. I'm supposed to be cleaning. I did get laundry in the dryer and another load washing. Not much else. I have one more hour before I have to leave to pick him up. I kind of wish it was longer. I won't wish that on my day to work at the school, but I do now. Or I wish we had the money for him to go to preschool. That's 2 days a week. Not sure the length of the day. Caleb really enjoys being with other kids and he does well ina structured environment. He LOVES to do crafts and I'm not really creative. I do have craft stuff for him, but it's nothing very interesting I think he's making a helicopter today at school.

So anyway, I'm enjoying my morning off. The weather is gorgeous and I'm not being pestered constantly. No TV either! Ahhh..I miss peace. I wonder how I'm going to handle having 2 children.

I guess I should at least go put the dishes away and fill the dish washer. Much easier when Caleb isn't "helping."
