ARTISTS: PLEASE REPOST!
Devon Smith, AKA Shishah, has recently had some trouble with another artist, Miss Cherry Martini, marketing artwork that is clearly traced from her own. When confronted, the girl apologized and said she would remove the offending work. She did not. She continues to sell Deviant Art prints and t-shirts with the traced image, and has done NOTHING to reimburse Devon, nor credit her as an "inspiration".

Image overlays at 40% opacity:
This took me less than 15 minutes in Photoshop to do. All I did was paste the original image as a new layer, adjust the opacity, flip, and rotate it.
OTHER POINTS OF INTEREST:
-Scale of body parts are not consistent with other Cherry Martini works, i.e. head has been sized down.
-Shape of the boots is almost identical.
It appears the original image has been flipped, scaled up, and traced.
If you recognize the artwork in Miss Cherry Martini's DA or other accounts, contact her. Contact the companies marketing her art, and encourage them to remove traced works. And please feel free to contact me here or at nightmarelolita AT yahoo.com with any screencaps or information.
