I bought tiiiiiightsss :B

Nice, stretchy, shiny, surprisingly comfortable fatgirl tights. And avenue has fifty thousand more pairs. On sale. I WIN. (tights)

I am an eating disorder and a terrible haircut away from being fashionable.

SPEAKING OF EATING DISORDER...
I was reading a thread on /ck/ about finicky eaters and RAAAAGE.

-I don't understand people who "hate" vegetables. I understand not liking some things because of weird flavors/textures (eg: I don't think I'll ever like plain cooked oats, bean sprouts, or tofu no matter how many ways I try) but seriously, most vegetables are delicious. DELICIOUS EDIBLE NATURE. "It's weird/green" is a flimsy excuse at best. Even my stepdad, who regularly uses the "it's green and grows in the dirt" excuse likes SOME vegetables.

-"Supertasters" are weird and it is my theory that they are probably aliens.

-And I SERIOUSLY RAGE'D on all the finicky eater and enabling parents stories. My mom, uncle, and grandmother DID NOT STAND for that bullshit. My cousins and I ate what we took or what they made or WE DIDN'T EAT AT ALL. We could sit there and push it around, but we had to make an attempt to eat it or we got reprimanded and sent to bed. However, they were all excellent cooks, and I almost never had a problem.

But my stepmother and stepsister were HORRIBLE about this, and I dreaded every non-breakfast meal I was forced to share with them. Most of the time I would actually become PHYSICALLY ILL after eating anything there.

Dad loved to cook (and made the most A-FRIGGING-MAZING peanut butter confections when the mood struck him), but after he moved in with Sandy he was only allowed to cook 5 things: Spaghetti with meat sauce (NO VISIBLE VEGETABLES, swimming in orange grease), Creamy Pasta Tuna Helper and Betty Crocker blueberry muffins (wait...what?), tacos (with iceberg lettuce and shredded Kraft slices ONLY, orange grease all up ins), pinto beans and dry-ass Jiffy cornbread, and La Choi Chicken Chow Main (disgusting slimy canned shit, FOULEST OF ALL FOUL CREATIONS). Why? Sandy outright refused to buy for or even TRY anything else. (Never mind she was unemployed with zero legitimate income, but that is not food-related.)

We rarely went out for fast food (that's good) and no burgers ever, just Taco Bell pintos-n-cheese and chicken burritos with NO VEGETABLES EVER, drowned in Mild sauce. They thought it was "gross" that I ate taco salads or pico de gallo.

Sit-down dinners were at country kitchen buffet restaurants only. Sandy would eat a well done steak with A1 or a plain fried chicken breast and maybe a baked potato, Trina might eat eat some iceberg lettuce floating in a pool of Ranch dressing. Both of them ate their WEIGHT in processed white bread slathered in margarine, and would pocket whatever was on the dessert bar. Yes, pocket. As in napkins full of illicit cookies and rolls hiding in every possible crevice.

De-Caff Coffee, Caffeine-free Diet Pepsi and 7-up ONLY to drink. NEVER ANYTHING ELSE IN THE HOUSE EVER, BECAUSE CAFFEINE IS OMG BAD FOR YOU. Or gross chlorine-and-iron-reeking tap water. Milk was for cereal and coffee only. To this day I cannot stomach the smell or taste of 7-Up. Mostly because it was the only thing there was cold and fizzy to drink during the many, many times I was sick.

Trina also claimed to "hate" tomatoes in all forms, but would pour ketchup on almost everything. When she was at her most frighteningly bulimic, I think ketchup and white bread were the only things keeping her ALIVE.

To think I was EMBARRASSED by Dad getting a couple of plates of crab legs when we went to a seafood buffet while on vacation at Myrtle Beach. (How he convinced Sandy into going is beyond me, though.) Poor guy was probably DYING for something that was actually good.

Also, HOW CAN YOU HATE TOMATOES? Does not compute. I can sort of understand not liking raw ones (acidic, unusual texture, the seed juice is messy and off-putting) but cooked tomatoes? Marinara sauce? Sun-dried tomatoes? Tomato soup? Bruschetta? Blood Marys? Salsa? Pomodoro? Caprese Salad? ALL OF THESE THINGS ARE AWESOME. AND DELICIOUS. AND MADE OF TOMATOES.

brb eating some grape tomatoes like candies

wtf, tl;dr, lolwhut, foods, raaage
