Jaw. Pain. All. Day.
I've been taking Aleves. 4 this morning, 6 this evening. WAAAAAY more than the recommended dose.
Tried taking a nap. Was allowed to sleep for far too long this afternoon. Big waste of time, but sleeping at least provides some reprieve in the form of unconsciousness.
Tried hot tea. Usually this works when nothing else will, if only from the heat.
NOTHING. No results. Still in pain.
Now, it's not the God-awful eye-stabby migraine deathpains of agony that I used to get in Morgantown, but just a constant, dull frontal lobe and face that WILL NOT GO AWAY.
I understand this is correctable with surgery. With mouthpieces. With a quick re-alignment from a chiropractor.
Yeah. Right. Great. Will you be paying for these treatments? Can I get a medical card? No? Oh. Well. Yeah. Thanks for telling me. Again.
My dentist just keeps pushing more ibuprofen and Aleve. I keep telling him how many I take but he just says "Take more". LOOK, GUY, COULD MAYBE IT BE I AM DEVELOPING A RESISTANCE? I DON'T WANT PAIN PILLS SO I CAN GET HIGH. I would just like mild dose of WHATEVER to take once, maybe twice a month? for when it gets like this, so I can sleep comfortably or concentrate for more than 5 seconds on something besides the pain radiating the sides of my face.
