Turns out I'm not getting very much financial aid. I lost a grant that I didn't even know had requirements, and I already turned down half of my subsidized loan and all of my unsubsidized. The remainder check they sent from my Pell grant only covered getting the current bills caught up, getting my pawns out, and groceries. A half year's taxes on the house are still delinquent from last year. The internet is due to go out any week now.
I tried calling financial aid to see if I can reaccept the remainder of my sub-loan, but they stuck me on hold for 30 minutes, so I gave up. I'll try going to the office tommorrow afternoon.
In typical fashion, I panicked, came home and cried about it, because I didn't know what else to do. I can't work full time regardless of my school schedule. I'll fail and be stuck in a go-nowhere job, except THEN I'll be stuck defaulting on the thousands of dollars I borrowed. There is no workstudy at my school, as I am not black. Nowhere is hiring part-time that is willing to work with my hours. JobForce will only help people who are willing to drop out of school. I can't drive and public transportation is extremely limited.
In short, I am currently screwed. So, yeah.
