Dancing with the Stars Week 7
Okay, before we begin, I must say how pleased I was with the results show last week. First, Manilow! Then, Sabrina is GONE! And the icing on the cake? SURPRISE LOUIS with Cheryl! Beautiful. Just lovely.
Dance #1 Helio and Julianne tango to "Jean Genie"
Aw, woobie!Helio. DONNY!!! Sorry, can't think of this song without thinking of Life on Mars and well, the Gene Genie. The outfit is much improved this week. And the dancing was good.
Dance #2 Marie and Jonathan quickstep to "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy"
Hee! Jonathan has girly hips! Shouldn't this be a jive song (they don't pick their music, so not their fault)? LOVE the outfits though. The dancing was excellent. Best I've seen her do so far. SUCK UP TO LEN! SURPRISE DONNY! She deserves that score!
Dance #3 Mel and Maks fox trot to "Jimmy Mack"
I do love them so. And I want her outfit. Yes, I'm playing fashion expert tonight. I liked the dance. I've also found when I like a fox trot, the judges don't. And vice versa.
Oh look, the Sabrina fans whined and now they are covering their butts. It couldn't possibly be that folks just didn't like her. Of course not.
Dance #4 Jane and Tony quickstep to "Walk the Line"
Not loving her dress. This is her type of dance though. I expect it to be good. And it was! Apparently the judges didn't watch the same dance I did.
SWEET MICHAEL FLATLEY! HIS LEGS FLAIL ABOUT AS IF INDEPENDENT FROM HIS BODY! And if you know that reference, we are bonded for life.
Dance #5 Jennie and Derek Viennese Walt to "Runaway"
Outfit, lovely and dance appropriate. And the dance was just lovely. Both her numbers are a bit acting oriented so she should do fine. Once again, I don't know what they were watching.
See this is the brilliant thing about this show. They only win that tacky trophy. This is all a matter of pride. It's like hockey during the playoffs. You do it because you love it.
Dance #6 Cameron and Edyta quickstep to "Why Can't I Be You?"
If they make it through to next week, Edyta goes to Disney World this weekend! You think I'm joking but is Super Soap Weekend and he's not missed one since he's been on All My Children. The Cure on DwtS. Who knew? I liked it. It wasn't great but it was enjoyable.

Why is Julianne wearing a dead bird? Helio shake those hips, baby! I liked it. Didn't love it. But I liked it. And Len is kicked out of the country. Not by me but others.
Woot! Dance Center! See, they are sucking up because they know how much I loved last week's show.

I'm sorry but Marie Osmond and this song do not mix. Another good outfit though. I must say you can tell how the dancing has shaped her body this week. It looks great. Another good dance. Not great. Just good.
Dance #9 Mel and Maks paso double to "Free Your Mind"
Oh my. That's quite the outfit she's almost wearing. And that was a really good Paso. As you know it takes a lot for that to come from me. I approve. Bruno summed it up perfectly I think. You know Tom loves the attention!
Dance #10 Jane and Tony cha cha to "The Shoop Shoop Song"
Oh Jane, I love you but you aren't as strong as the rest. I mean it was lovely but at this point in the season you need to be more than that. But yes, she can still be a Bond girl if she wanted to be. Oi! Len! Anglophiles know it's Guy Fawkes Night!

Yea! Finally the dance I wanted to see her do! Dress very nice. As was the dance. She should be proud of that.
Dance #12 Cameron and Edyta jive to "Boy From New York City"
What's up with her outfit? Cameron's is great but I'm confused with her leg things as always. JOHN RATZENBURGER! Still love him from last season. I like that too. Does it show that I like everyone that's left? I didn't repeat any of my phone votes. I will my online ones though (which means I won't be voting for one person).
