I know I still have one more to do for catyuy but I'm going to change it up and do one of roxyk630's.
Top Five Fanfic Guilty Pleasures.
I don't know if they are so much guilty pleasures as I freely admit to reading all of these but here we go.
1. Rose in Human Nature/Family of Blood, Doctor Who
I firmly believe that the way those two episodes were told, they could not have been told with Rose there. Joan and John would not have worked with Rose there. We saw how Rose bled through and she wasn't even there! That being said, I love the stories where she's the maid/nurse/other teacher and John Smith can't help but fall in love with her still. Or the ones where they are put into another time and they are "married" or not.
2. Stories set after The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit, Doctor Who
Especially ones where they didn't find the TARDIS, at least not right away. Because we know being stuck with each other, that's not so bad!
3. S2 ended at episode 11/Marian didn't die, leading to her and Guy being together, Robin Hood
As far as I'm concerned S2 ended at the end of episode 11. I haven't watched since. Therefore, Marian didn't die and she realized her true love was our favorite sulky man in leather. Because, quite like someone else we know and love, she made this man better.
4. Blue!Ten/Rose smut, Doctor Who
Happy, fluffy smut ideally but a little angst now and then doesn't hurt. And bonus!Jackie is always welcome. I just love seeing how various people explore this relationship. And I like smut.
5. Uncommon pairings, various fandoms
Yes, I love Buffy/Spike, but my favorite Buffy couple is Giles/Anya. My Angel couple? How does Lorne/Cordy hit you? I've poked around Watchmen stuff and can't find Jon/Laurie, though I would love to. Even some of my soap pairings can be hard to find. And I created an apparently now well loved uncommon pairing in Hannah/Peter!
