Easy Listening.
As I'm working on math review packet,
I'm listening to DJ Okawari (left pic)
and Nomak (right pic).
I've never heard of them before.
Don't know much about chill hip-hop
or easy listening. I do like it a lot,
and I have listened to this kind of stuff
before just don't know what genre to call it
exactly xDD lol
I'm listening to the both albums, combine (nomak) and
diorama (DJ Okawari) on my Tommy's itouch.
I'm just going to list off names.
No specific details as to why I like them.
Album - Combine by Nomak
I liked most of it,
but my faves would be:
- Benevolent Smile
- Blessing of Music
- Crescent
- Doze Off
- Rebirth.
Album - Diorama by DJ Okawari
I liked some of it but a few from
the album were good in my opinion.
faves:
- Evening Comes
- Bluebird Story (ft. Jumelles)
- Ring
- Coffee Break
The ones I like from both albums all
have similar elements used in the
songs.
Piano, violins, flutes ... typical chill-hip hop
beats you would normally hear remixed for
bboys and girls to break to.
The songs give me a RPG feel to them.
Along with that, I also think about
Hayao Miyazaki movies for some strange reason ...
I have the strongest urge to watch something from him.
Maybe Princess Mononoke ... I've only watched it once.
The others I have watched dozens of times.
Spirited Away and Kiki's delivery service both tied
with how many times I've watched both. xD
ohhh, gotta focus on math now!
