today's election results are depressing. that said, this first-past-the-post nonsense has got to go!

How do you 'win' an election, when 62% of the country voted AGAINST you? Only in Canada.
Tonight, Canada voted against the Conservatives. Again. With only 37.7% of the popular vote, they are declared the 'winner' under our outdated first-past-the-post system. The Liberal, NDP & Green vote adds up to more than 50%, a majority of voters. Yet, their seat count only adds up to 36%.
It's time for electoral reform.
