Exploring Halifax
Waaah Im tired.
Just finished my 5 hr exploration of Halifax. I am beat. My dumb shoes do not have enough support so my feet are killing me. I stupidly purchased books from Coles at Scotia Square so my bag weight about a toddler and was just as unwheldy. Obviously I was not thinking today.
So here's what I did
- Kim left the house at 10:30 and desided to go find the Discovery Center and Nova Scotian Crystal on George Street. (didnt get to the Discovery Center)
- Kim took a stroll down Barrington, turned onto Hollis, then onto Prince and then to Lower Water Street where she when to the Torist Infomation Center and got a map. (Yay directions)
- Kim then took a look around the waterfront, got a fuzzy picture of a fishing Black Cormorant and finally found George Street. (Sailors are intimidating)
- Kim, instead of going to Nova Scotian Crystal, when to HSBC on Duke St. and then headed to NSC. (The NSC workers were glass blowing and once the glass was cool they were cutting shapes into it. I didnt take a pic because I did not want to be responsible for a missing finger or a massive burn O_O ouch!)
- Kim then had Tim Hortons across the street. (Yay Timmy's. Yum Blueberry fritter)
- Kim then walked up Duke st to get to Scotia Square and go a bunch of books from Coles. (Which was the least that I could do as I was in there about an hour >_>)
- Kim then had Beef and Broccoli and Seseame Chicken for lunch at the Square. (Food!!!!!!!!)
- KIm decided that she was going to head and see the Natual History Museum (For some fool reason.)
- Kim also tried to help another torist get a bus to Bay Rd. (She kept on saying the number 6 bus and I was like just go down to Barrington at the end of the road should be a huge bus gatering and there should be someone to help you. She was confused, I was confused...we made a very confusing couple @_@)
-Kim took a stroll down Barrington, a hike up Sackville and a hobble down Summer St. (Halifax needs less hills)
- Kim then spent the better part of the afternoon exploring the Natural History Museum (I must have gotten there at around 1 and I left at 2:44. )
- Kim decided that it was best to go back to the house and get some supper on the way. (TIRED!!!!)
-Kim then strolled down Summer, then turned onto Spring Garden and then turned onto Queen. (Feet..hurt...Ipod...died ;_;)
- Kim got some Subway (Yay)
- Kim reached house and will not be going back outside today. (Showernowshowernowshowernow)
I think I will go and hang at Spring Garden tomorrow and maybe see a movie.
