what do you get when you cram five people and luggage into a midsize car with three people who have long legs???
a very uncomfortable five hour car ride!
so me, my parents, my grandma, and aunt went to the Grand Canyon saturday and we just got back.... it was kinda cold so us Phoenicians were all bundled up in winter coats, and my dad wore this really ugly bright red hat.. don't worry, i'll sohw you, we have pictures. he also really sucked at parallel parking... people were staring... we were laughing.. so we hiked down a little ways, and it was pretty, ans SO big, i liked it, even though i had already seen it twice before. we went to a souvenier store and it started to SNOW!! i didn't think it would last though. so we went to the IMAX show and it was really good, cuz it felt like you were flying in the sky and rafting down the river... my aunt bought me a pretty ring, and then when we left our car was covered in snow!!!! mind you that i've never seen a lot of snow, only little fluries... so this was a big deal...then we went out to dinner at this place called "We Make Pizza and Pasta"... how creative.
back to our hotel, and then we woke up and everything was white! it was so pretty, and it was snowing and we ate the snow, and then made a snowman at the rim of the canyon and then came home.. which was rather interesting... but the whole trip was fun.
everyone was gone this weekend, kate went to Prescott for the eighth grade thing, tessa went to prescott too, and, well i guess that's it.. oh and kerianne and ashley became parents this weekend, to a little mexican girl baby named Emilina!!
yay! only three days of school this week!
