oh no no
I don't want to go back to school.
This is the first time I've felt like this. I always want to go home by the end of the semester and I always want to go back to school by the end of breaks. But this time I'm afraid of my courseload and of not being able to do it while still having a life, and I'm afraid to leave the comfort of home, my bed, people.
But I also think this means that I've had a wonderful winter break thus far.
Winter Break
Opened Christmas presents on the steps of the Lincoln memorial
Saw the Postsecret exhibit in Georgetown
Road tripped to Prince William County for Adam and all-you-can-eat pizza for $4.50
Wings factory with guys who did all-you-can-eat wings (notice a pattern here?) and watched Dan eat two flatliners
Witnessed drunken Priyesh, funniest thing I've ever seen in my life
Had a very, very interesting and crazy New Year's Eve experience
Watched Shakespeare's A Comedy of Errors in DC
Made an ice cream cake with Jennifer and Paul
Ate ice cream cake
Ate at Amphora much too frequently
Heard Dan's band play a show
Watched Love Actually, Elf, Munich, 40-year-old Virgin, Chaplin's City Lights, and a whole bunch of other movies, read books, watched Gilmore Girls, made new friends, played a ton of piano, slept until 3pm every day, it's been a good life :)
I'm feeling a lot of anxiety these days, for the first time in a very long time. I hope it passes soon.
P.S. I am leaving this Saturday.
P.P.S. Happy 2006! My resolution? To love everyone more genuinely and read as many good books as I can.
