There is only one star in the sky
Only one star can see my pain
Only one star can wipe away my tears
My star, my light, my hope
My hope and my comfort
Through trial after trial
My star will never dim
My star will never flicker
It is immortal
But then it dims
Then it flickers
I never saw it coming
My only light is gone
I stand alone in the darkness
I cry alone in the darkness
I am dead inside
And no one can tell
The only one that could is gone
