Character: Beric Dondarrion
Fandom: A Song of Ice and Fire, featured in Game of Thrones
Summary: For those of you who do not know who this character is, he is one of the lesser entities in George R.R. Martin’s world-also affectionately known as Westeros, but it is with this distinction that I would hardly consider him insignificant in the grand scope and perspective of the world to an outsider.
Beric is described in the books as a young man set to inherit lands-be a lord, father children, pass on title to his progeny-unfortunately, he is brutally killed by a man known as “The Mountain”. All the previous aspirations are gone, he is SPOILER WARNING brought back to life by a priest under the Lord of Light. His last thoughts in his previous life all consuming the power of hatred for his bitter foe who killed him. He becomes official leader of a ragtag outfit known as the Brotherhood Without Borders, and the embittered hatred from his previous life has not won him any favors in his current reincarnation.
If this is confusing in anyway, I am sorry, but this is sort of to help you understand my creation of this fanmix. It is rather dark, ominous, and bone chillingly close to what many of us feel like on a daily basis. Also, I might have to write a meta at some point mirroring Beric Dondarrion to Lady Stoneheart (if you’ve read the books, you know who she is already).
