2012 - 04: It's time to realize my dreams

I love older houses. The architecture, the craftsmanship, the character that goes into the builder's dream design. Sorry if I've posted about this before, but I do love them. This is kind of a personal entry for me. If you don't want to read about my random thoughts on career options, you can skip this entry.

My Bachelor's Degree was in Graphic Arts, and I have recently received a certificate in Legal Office Assistant from the local community college. It still doesn't seem like it would be enough to divert my search for a career to house fixer-upper. It's not real estate agent, mind you; I'm not the most socially productive individual. Shy and introvert would be what most people would define me as on any given day.

It is this passion that I have to remake things from their original design that I'm not sure what to do with it. I have very little/if any money for start up capital, and I still have to discuss this proposition with my family. Also, weather is a big factor, and if I wanted to start any type of career reconfiguring houses, the job would most likely start when the snows have melted and the grounds warmed up again.

Anyways, I'll have to think a little more on this, but it is something that sparks the entrepreneur in me. I just don't know if I have the drive to go through with it.

this is me, personal life
