Life slips into a routine when you least expect it. Most therapists would call that a rut; Penny would have agreed. When she came out to California three years ago, she had her dream of being an actress. It was her hope to work in a dead end job for six months, and then she could hit the big time.
The boys of 4A and their friends sidetracked her from her goal.
With squared shoulders, Penny stood tall and walked into the studio. She stopped in front of the receptionist, looking down at her.
“I am ready to audition now.”
