happiness is a warm gun
i never thought it possible to have a capacity for receiving a love such as mine. i'm so fortunate, so blessed, and so unbelievably happy. the past four days serve as a reminder: i am the luckiest girl ever.
this break was a much-needed one. although my decision to forgo a thanksgiving in san antonio didn't entirely please my family, it was well worth it. i was a little hesitant about going to her family's house, given the nature of our relationship, but it was quite nice. now that i think about it, it's probably necessary that i spent some time with la familia de frey before the big trip next month. (19 days. yes i'm already counting.)
besides being in sarah's company, i was fortunate enough to visit with venessa and joseph, which was (as usual) great fun. besides going to buchanan's and seeing the rowdies again, i drank micheladas in progreso with mando and liz, picked up my humie and spent quality drinking and smoking time with him, and saw my high school friend alexis at the barnes and noble. all in all, the visit to my old homefront was startingly perfect. mmmmmm.
it's time to push it these last three weeks. get through the semester and prepare to see my love again, but this time in a foreign country.
