go to aim.com and in the menu on the left, click on AIM Express. It will pop up a window and then click on "start". It will pop up a window that you put your s/n and password in and then click start or whatever it says. It will load your buddy list right there.

At my old job, the IT guy was like my best friend there and he taught me that. It should work for you.
