adopting/rescuing is a whole lot of work. i don't want a super bored indoor cat. solution would be either quit my job(no), move(ain't gonna happen) or get a friend for my cat.(bingo) my first thought was squirel, probably not a good idea. i still kinda want one cause they run like dolphins. small dog? that's alot of work. not so much. hence, cat. finding said desperately in need of rescue cat is harder than it seems. it would probably be easier if i left the house more. i just don't want to go down to the shelter to find out they have nothing, cause that is what they are posting on their website, nothing. are they lying? are cute cats/kittens waiting for me to swoop in and rescue them?

ps. i am very happy in my new apartment and when i am settled there will be a house warming dinner. notice will likely be last minute, but i need a dining table first.
