Update?????
So I have a little time to update this thing from maby a year ago. Things have been on autopilot I guess. Im wanting to do something. Something new. I really want to start spinning. Im getting to the point of being able to do full sets. Im changing from more tech-house and electro to more minimal techno. Im being influenced a lot by the minus label. The deep minimal sounds that ive been hearing does a lot for me. I don't really have to have a couple of drinks or anything to dance to minimal. I bought some new records from Magda,Troy Pierce(who are both on the minus label), them some misc.,Trentemoller,Chardonette,sweet n candy,Ricardo Villalobos and some other stuff. Panpot remixes are good. Very good.... Tony bought me the newest mix mag that had a new mix from Richie. He is so nice!
The party at the beach on the 4th of July has been cancelled. I really wanted to play it. It would have been my biggest show yet. I was ready for it also. I want a party to play. I know were having a party here next week for Eric's birthday. But I was excited just cause it was at the beach. Nice systems, tables and mixer, plus the oppertunity to show people how ive grown and progressed in spinning. I need new equipment.....The things I have right now arent absolutly shitty....But they arent helping me grow. But I guess it just improves your skill cause if you always play on crappy tables, then go to good ones it's a hell of a lot easier. Once I pay off my debt to my mom i'm gonna get technics a new mixer and new needles. I still want to keep a steady flow of new records also. Not all crazy but I want to be refreshed with new stuff every once in a while. Im starting to take myself seriously now and not just some guy that doesnt know what he's doing. It's a nice feeling too. It feels so good to make people dance. It's kinda depressing though that you have to compromise a little sometimes. I dont like playing stuff you dont really love cause people wont dance if it isnt familiar or more mainstream electro or house. Minimal isnt for everyone and thats kind of a drag. It's just so goddamn deep. New crowd! New crowd! New crowd!
