So I stopped blogging/visiting here for awhile...mostly because, for the first time in my life, I kind of have no life....and sometimes, reading about everyone elses life...(as mundane as it may seem to all of you)...is depressing for me..and then I get angsty..and wonder why I can't get out of this rut and continue living the super awesome life I had a few years ago...so I just took a break from it for awhile.
But...I am back from LJ vacation.
I'm still circling around Crazytown..but slowly coming back into normalcy.. whatever the heck that means. Today I went to Petco and contemplated buying a rabbit....because purchasing a rabbit obviously equals "emotional and domestic stability". :) Nope. I'm just looking for a semblance of said life.
Anyway, the rabbits were freakin cute...and I was all about naming one or both of them..(Bucky O'Hare, Monkey 2, The Grey Ghost, Eeyore) until...
Me: Excuse me, mam....how much are the rabbits?
Petco girl: nineneinnee...
Me: 9.99?
Petco girl: Umm....no, like 99.99.
Me: 100 dollars? For real?
Petco girl: Umm..yeah. I guess.
Me: Wow..those must be some SPECIAL rabbits then.
Petco girl: Umm..no, they are just rabbits, okay? Just plain old rabbits.
Me: Okay. Thanks.
(then to myself) bwahahahhahhaha
So I did not go home with two or even one single rabbit. I just couldn't fork over a dub for some cute furry pooping substitute for love.
Maybe another day.
However, I did learn that some Petco employees do not have a sense of humor...good to know for the next time I "almost" buy a pet.
