(no subject)
LJ tells me it's been seven weeks since my last post. I'm not sure why that bothers me so much. In any case, I learned something new the other day. Although I was aware that a sealed can of soda will explode when frozen, I had not expected that it would do so with such extreme force. I now have frozen orange pop all over my car. For once, I'm grateful for the weather. My car smells like orange soda, but I suppose that's an improvement. Better than old upholstery smell.
Can't wait for my taxes to come back. I'm using them to pay last semester's tuition so I can graduate (finally!!!). I hope it'll be in time to submit the paperwork for a spring graduation. I won't be attending the ceremony, though. Why would they even bother to have a ceremony at a community college for an associate's degree, anyway? Seems a bit lame, in the long run. Maybe I'll have enough left over for a new muffler, too. I'd like to be able to hear my radio again, someday.
In other news, although I still have a job, my employer has decided that none of us are getting raises this year. What absolute suck. If they cut my hours, I swear, I'll be leaving the state.
Also, although I didn't say so at the time, I'm uncontainably thrilled that Sunhawk finally updated her Ion arc. THANK YOU!!! My years of waiting have paid off. (although there's still a remarkable lack of new gw fic, these days. or maybe I'm on the wrong site(s). Or maybe I read too fast?)
I'm thinking about getting back into editing again, too. Anyone need a beta? I like long projects.
