So my Sci-Fi literature class is literally the only highlight in my week, these days. After three weeks of class, I now realize how woefully behind I am in my scifi reading, having mainly focused on fantasy literature for the past few (read: ten) years. To remedy this, I am making myself a to-read list including all the books which I should have read, but haven't yet. This list doesn't include the books I actually OWN but have yet to read, or the books which I HAVE read, but do not currently own.
American Gods- Neil Gaiman
The Dispossessed - Ursula K. Le Guin
Flowers for Algernon - Daniel Keyes
I Robot - Isaac Asimov
Journey to the Center of the Earth - Jules Verne
Around the World in Eighty Days - Jules Verne
The Portrait of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde
Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep - Phillip K. Dick
Stranger in a Strange Land - Robert A. Heinlein
Time Machine - H.G. Wells
1984 - George Orwell
Brave New World - Aldous Huxley
Any other suggestions?
