(no subject)
I don't update here that much anymore just because I generally use Facebook to keep up with folks. I do have Tales of Kindergarten to share eventually, but not for awhile.
Mostly I just wanted to post and say we had to have Trinity put down today. She was just completely blind, could barely breathe, and really had no quality of life left - and the vet agreed with us. She was by no means a 'good' dog - in fact, just this week she ripped into a huge mailing box of peppermint bark and ate an entire tin of the stuff to include the actual tin it came in - but we loved her and we'll miss her.
So it's kind of a sad atmosphere at home right now. I'm kind of hoping that sometime early next year we can make the trip to Colorado and pick up another Golden Retriever rescue dog. Hopefully our next one will not be as nutty as the previous one. Poor old girl.
