I've been playing Portal. I think it broke me. I half expect to fall straight through my monitor into a cement floor tile. I'm stuck in a test chamber (number 14 maybe? I've forgotten) where I'm supposed to somehow zap my way into a free fall, then zap my way to another room while still IN the free fall. I'm bad at it.

Also, I love it. I love any game where there's some sort of voice in the background telling you how much you suck at life.

I made a lot of smart-assed comments to Dani about how her PS3 is a monolith of gargantuan proportions rather than a gaming console. The Xbox 360 is smaller but I think it weighs just as much as a PS3. It's slowly caving in the bit of furniture it's standing on.

Finally, I purchased Tales of Vesperia for the system and I'm only five minutes in, but I think the look of the game might turn me off. It's like super mega ultra shiny cleaned up polygon crap from FF7. All the limbs connect at least, but it's got that weird "everyone you meet is made out of Legos" vibe to it.

I'm going to stop playing with the Portal gun now and crochet for a bit so as to reassure myself that the laws of physics do not work that way.
