While I'm pretty sure I need to at least live in a town with a Sudbury school, and need a choir at least as good as the one I'm in here in Colorado...I often wonder how non-negotiable these things are. As the politicians say, what if everything were on the table...
Could I find work as meaningful and fulfilling as being on staff at a Sudbury school?
Could I find a satisfactory musical outlet even if the local choral scene didn't include something like Ars Nova?
Would I be happier living in a place with more Green (such as Columbia, MO, or the Pacific Northwest, or the Boston or D.C. areas), or with the familiarity of the not-very-Green-yet-otherwise-wonderful Chicago (where I went to college)?
I'm certainly willing to relocate for the right match/relationship, too, and would even consider doing without one of my other priorities for it.
Oh, what a swirl they all make: Work, Music, Green/Home, and Love; how many would I need fulfillment in? Right now, I'm only batting .500, and that's got me feeling restless...
