i'd really like to get rid of my car and buy a motorcycle, something i could ride to work and to choir. i almost never need all the space of a car, and the gas mileage differential would be huge. (and i could always take the bus when the weather's too bad.)

but then i remembered: i don't have health insurance right now. motorcycle + no insurance = bad idea, even by my relatively risk-friendly standards.
