Whenever the hero really starts beating the snot out of the bad guys, he'll start dedicating each strike either for a particular action the villain has done, or forsomeone special to the hero that the villain has killed. It will often culminate to the "final blow" being dedicated to what's really important overall
Defrosting Ice Queen:
"Defrosting the Ice Queen" has been a common goal of many a romance hero since the dawn of time. Basically you have a woman (it's more frequently a woman, though male examples have always existed and they're becoming quite more common lately) who has a cold demeanor, usually to everyone, sometimes just to the hero.
Establishing Character Moment:
The first moment does not have to be huge, it doesn't have to be impressive, it doesn't even have to be first. It's about revealing a character's motivations and abilities in a single introductory scene.
The Glorious War Of Sister Rivalry:
There are two sisters, close enough in age to have a relatively equal relationship, but light years apart in personality.
High School Dance:
Overprotective Dad:
You know this guy. You might even BE this guy, if you're a dad. Well aware of the sex-obsessed horndogs that teenage guys can be - probably because he was one - the Overprotective Dad wants to protect his daughter from being exploited. Unfortunately, he tends to take it all too far, holding the Eight Simple Rules For Dating My Teenaged Daughter as his personal bible.
Shrouded In Myth
You've heard the stories. There's someone out there, someone mysterious and untouchable. Rumors and hearsay seem to surround their every word and deed. And not just the normal sort either, but the utterly ridiculous kind. Like that he's thirty feet tall and shoots lightning bolts out of his arse.
Tearjerker
Some viewers are impassive when it comes to what they watch. They've seen it all. No fictional death, sacrifice, emotional display or confession can move them.

Wild Teen Party
It almost always results in wall-to-wall teens, loud music, underage drinking, and property damage. (And, in R-rated movies, a lot of sex in the bedrooms and/or bathrooms.) Sometimes this is by design, and sometimes a small party for a couple of friends spirals completely out of control.
