it's the little things that truly count
tonight had to be one of the greatest. I didn't go faraway...i didn't see a cool show... but what i did do was go to vbs, hang out with the greatest kids ever, see old friends and drink good tea.
So today, basically did nothing during the day. Hung out with mom a little bit, because she had the day off. Around 4:50pm, Nikki and the kids came over. 5, dad left for the adolescents show (still a little bummed i missed it). 5:30, ate some del taco and took my two favorite kids to VBS. I really love going and doing it. It's always so rewarding to work with kids. Not to mention, i get to hang out with my friends and get filled in on things by Scott. Today was an even better day though... My lovely wifey, who i havent seen in a month or more, came tonight. I missed amber sooo much (that right allix, now that i saw amber, i have to see you).
After VBS, i took the kids to my moms car, and amber and i left with scott. Scotty dropped us off at deidrichs in the cirlce. I had a yummy ice tea, I met ambers friends, saw carlos (her boyfriend) and just had a little bit of fun there. Grant and Kevy stopped by, and Liz and Corey came to get us. It was a mini trinity reunion + corey (who is just fabulous... corey fabulous!). It was awesome. then ambie,corey, liz and i left and drove around a little bit. We did our norm thing...have a little fun, maybe cause a little trouble. All four of us hadn't all beeen together in ages, if only scotty could have stayed, it would have been another reunion...except i recently hung out with all of them but amber. As we drove around, we had to stop and pick something up, and then i came home.... thinking i should impress my mom by being early (and I did...i'm trying to get her to trust me more).
But yes, today, even though i didn't really do a whole lot of awesome things, i had so much fun.
