It's Spring Break this week. I'm miserably bored, despite the fact that I have a bit of homework I should be doing. When I'm here, all I do is eat and sleep a lot. That's not good. Three more days and I'll be back in Hattiesburg.
WORK.
Oh yeah, I have a job. As many times as I promised myself I wouldn't work with food, handling breakfast and working in the kitchen at a hotel isn't hard at all. I don't mind waking up at 5:30/6:30 AM, if it means me getting paid a decent amount of money every now and then. Hello, free breakfast!
MUSIC.
I'm willing to take the time to see violin/viola/cello/bass recitals. I plan to go to as many as I can this spring. There are 9. They fill me with a feeling I can't quite describe. Oh, how I'd love to hold a violin again.
ART.
So my three pieces (skateboard, Katrina poster, and magazine) got accepted in the student art show at school. But I didn't win anything. I was confident I would've won something for my poster, at least, but no. Oh well, rejection is all a part of being an art major.
I'm going to start painting again. This summer I'm taking Meade's painting class and it should be quite relaxing.
This fall, I'm taking photography. I'm excited about that because I'll get to use my SLR again.
Also this fall, Web Design with Ping. Yeah.
