I recently found an old mixed tape (unlabeled) and it was great! While listening to it I didn't know what was coming next but it all ended up being stuff that I love. There was Velvet Underground, Pulp, stuff from the Velvet Goldmine Sndtrk, Aimee Mann, Jeff Buckely and others. Swell.
This Friday is Friday the 13th! The bakery in North Branch has been making sugar cookies shaped liked candy corns, pumpkins, ghosts and witches hats. They are pretty cool looking with the appropriate colors on them and they taste great too. Very Halloweeny. Before there were maple and oak leaves in beautiful autumn colors.
I had a man offer to make me dinner this Friday. Anything I wanted he said. I was very touched. I don't believe that has EVER happened to me before.
I saw 'Science of Sleep' last weekend and really enjoyed it.
Gael Garcia Bernal sure looked nice in a plaid shirt. I can dig an eccentric man (he played one in the film.)
