A little something for the ol' sweet tooth!
I have a new snack obsession: Skittles. Esp the sour ones, mmmmm! They're quickly taking the place of "The Guys" (this 5 gallon tub of animal crackers that I got at Costco and have been noshing on non-stop for the past few weeks -- I think I horrified some friends when I actually *buckled in* the animal crackers on a car ride. What can I say, they're my "Guys"? ;-).
Had a craptacular weekend. Crap. Tacular. :-( Not a fan of real life drama.... But things are straightened out now, so I'm a little relieved. BTW, thanks, K, for having my back.
Went to the mall today (aka The Mother Ship). It's always a dangerous place for me to be, esp when I supposed to be saving $$. I showed AMAZING self-restraint until I went in Express.... Then I folded like last week's laundry (or like a wet sock on a foot, as Kristen would say :-). Ah well, they had some pretty good sales going and I can't say no to cute clothes. Found a dress to wear to Todd's wedding in July. So it was perfectly practical and justified, right? Right?
Been having creative urges lately, which is pleasantly surprising... I thought law school would break me of any creative spirit that I had, but... I guess not. Go figure. I may just start a certain BTTF vignette tonight. ;-) I've also been having urges to bust out the old pencil and drawing paper, which I haven't had for YEARS--since my freshman year of college, pretty much. Kristen, you'll have to describe to me certain scenes from your stories you want me to tackle, and I might give it a go. I also might draw a pic of myself, Family Guy style... I've always wondered what I'd look like as a cartoon character.
Joshua's visiting. Someone to corrupt! Well, he's probably corrupting ME more than I'm corrupting HIM, technically. It's sad how quickly I revert back to adolescent humor....
Mike, if you're reading this, question: HOW did our joke about Journey's "Any Way You Want It" start?
This song cracks me up, BTW. Poor Scotty.... (Great line: "I can't believe he's so trustin' / when I'm behind you and I'm thrustin'").
