"That explains his mysterious trip to Holland...."

I've come to the realization that I absorb other peoples' mannerisms like some sort of wierd sponge thing. I've always noticed that when I'm around someone alot, I unconsciously pick up their way of speaking and gesturing.. Like I say certain words with a British accent thanks to my former roommate Amy. But now I'm noticing it applies to ( Read more... )

I have some tips on wireless black holes. Borders, for one. And for another...erm...um.... Yeah. My fave local coffee shop has spotty Internet -- sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not -- and most of the other places I frequent are in Davis and also have free Wi-Fi.

You must not procrastinate. You must get all your cramming done so you can at least reap some guilt-free enjoyment from life between now and your exams!

Yeah, I think I'll prob end up at Borders. They have beverage, bathrooms, and quiet tables (but not *too* quiet) and restricted wi-fi - everything a cramming student could need. Except monkeys. They don't have monkeys.

Hey... I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out who TG! reminded me of in that pic you showed me. I knew it was someone, but I couldn't figure it out at first. But today I had an epiphany! TG! bears an uncanny resemblence to Bill Nye! Good thing he doesn't teach science or I'd really be freaking out right now! *ducks* Don't hit me!

Bill NYE?? No freakin' way! Like I said, the pic you saw is not the best in quality or whatnot.

I think he may teach science this year in some capacity. They seem to have him doing a little of everything. :-P

Only thing with Borders is that you MUST stay away from the distracting books and periodicals. (I also recommend getting coffee at the Starbucks next door, since the coffee drinks there (IMO) blow.

Bill Nye? I resent that! I think I look more like Steven Seagel.

Sweet mother of God, if you looked like Segel, there's no way I would've pursued you in the least! Shudder.....

Bill Nye, Steven Seagal, same difference! I always get those two mixed up... Bill Nye was in Under Seige, right?
