Not everyone is aware of this, but the Big Mac was invented in 1958 by Ray Kroc in Peoria, IL. He had the idea in the stockroom of his flagship store, during a guilt-ridden orgasm ( Read more... )

That really made me smile. :)

Ah, I love to make people happy. :)

Seriously, one thing I cannot relate to as I guy--though I understand it--is that women have that "Biological Clock" thing going on. If women want kids, and they feel they are getting close to that time, it tends to grate on them. Is this also something you think about?

That said, I didn't get married until I was 29. I met my wife by writing a personal ad in a magazine publication (the Internet was still just in it's infancy of public use back in 1991). I was 26 at the time and felt like I was never going to meet someone--I wasn't into the bar scene and none of my friends knew any single girls that I was interested in--unless I created a way for me to have no choice but to meet someone. I went out on three dates. It was like the three bears tasting the porridge.

One was not my type.

One reminded me too much of my sister.

But the third one, my wife Jenn, was juuuuust right. :)

We hit it off right away...and the rest is history.

Your connection is out there. Use whatever is at your disposal to find him. I have tried to sell K on the use of an online dating service (ie: Match.com or what-have-you). She's not budging (yet). :) Maybe if you both do it together it will seem less intimidating and maybe even fun! It may seem less formal. But there can still be budding romances found through dating services. My wife and I are proof-positive that it works.
