You know what I thoroughly dislike about some movies? When it starts of with some Very Important Plot Point, and you know the people are involved are important, but you only see them for like two seconds, and you try your best to remember their faces but OMG HARD! So then when you're watching the movie you keep wondering "Was that Plot Point Man?" "Was that him?" "Is it racist that I'm not sure if that black man was featured before? Does it mean I can't recognize black faces?"
Case in point, The Interpreter. Two people, what seemed to be a local man and a journalist, were shot dead. A photographer hid in the bushes and took pictures of some suited guy getting out of a car. I assumed he was the "teacher" referenced by the boy who murdered them. But then later it didn't seem like it was. And then I couldn't really remember what he looked like. And it's SO ANNOYING watching a movie like that.
Rant over. Thank you for listening.
