Max Fishman *sigh* : )

There was just a loud eruption of applause from the other room of the computer lab. It was very strange. But strange things often happen around here, which makes them less strange, so no one here in my room really did anything. I should have run in there to make sure Jim Caviezel wasn't stopping by or anything.
Did I tell everyone that I found my future husband? Tim Caviezel. Yep, Jim's little brother. At least I hope he's his little brother and not his older brother. Now that I know Tim exists, I just have to find him. Oh, and my friends are all fighting over Mel Gibson's son... but we don't know how old he is. We know Mel has 9 kids (I think it's 9... 7 and 2 adopted? I'm not sure) And we know his oldest is 22 and a girl. Then we found out yesterday that when his oldest daughter was 2, his wife had twins. Therefore, he has two children that are the perfect age for us, and we're just hoping at least one is a boy. But I have dibs on Tim Caviezel.
Today is the windiest day ever. I almost fell over it was so windy, which actually would have been hysterical. I think I would have just cracked up laughing and not been embarrassed at all. The weather channel said that the wind is "gusting to 31 mph," which is a lot, but it still feels more like 100.
I got so distracted by DST that i forgot to talk about the Mystery Dinner Theatre on Saturday night. A group of five of my friends went together and had a blast. The way a mystery dinner theatre works is that everyone comes and sits at these nice tables and then part of a play is peformed. In the middle of the play, the characters all come down and eat dinner with you. Not every table gets a character, but the characters are spread throughout the room and they stay in character all through dinner. After dinner, the play continues (it's a short play) and you find out right after it wraps up that one of the characters has been killed. By this time, there are lots of suspects and motives. Then you get dessert, and during dessert the characters walk around the room and you can buy clues from them for $1 each. Once your table knows who the murderer is, you turn in your solution. After 15 or 20 minutes, the characters come back and the end of the play is finished with the detective solving the murder. The table that turned in the correct solution first wins. It's SOOO much fun! Dinner and dessert are hilarious because most of the characters are nutcases and to see them interact during dinner is a riot. Last year DJ kept standing up on tables and yelling and Fred Fraser walked around like a dirty homeless druggie and was eating off peoples plates and actually drank the water out of one of the vases of flowers on the table. This year, the five of us were privelaged to sit with Mike McSheffrey, who was playing the part of Paul a producer (the director eventually got murdered), a very nervous fellow. He kept jumping when people would come talk to him, and had us laughing throughout dinner. It was so much fun. We picked the right person for the murderer, too, but turned in our solution seconds after the first people did, so we didn't win. Oh well. It was still a riot. One of my favorite characters (besides Paul- who wouldn't love Paul?) was Ben Bielinski, who played Max Fishman, an agent for this goofy actor, Slyvester Stragone. Max was a ladies man (this wasn't hard for ben to play...) and he kept coming around our table and flirting over his sunglasses. The fun part of this whole thing is that you can flirt shamelessly back and it's all in fun, so we had fun with him. He gave me his card at the very beginning and told me to call him. When Paul had left for a minute, Max sat down and starting drinking Paul's wine and water, but Paul was too scared to defend himself when he came back. Max wouldn't give us a free clue, though, even though we slipped him our phone numbers. : ) It's so easy to give them money for clues, too, even though you need to spend a bunch of money for the clues to really add up. You get caught up in the fun, though. When John Burger came by and was talking to us (he played the guy the director's fiancee was cheating on the director with... if that makes sense) it was really hard not to just keep giving him money! : )
So that was Saturday night. Last night they did it again, and I wish I would have served dinner or something so I could have seen it again. They changed the solution last night, and I heard everyone was just as funny, if not funnier.
I got a new cardigan sweater today in the mail, just in time to wear for Easter. I wish it would be warm for Easter, but it's supposed to be 50 here and rainy. : ( *sigh*
I spent all yesterday afternoon putting together the invitations for Jill's shower. I'm very excited- how often do you get to throw a bridal shower for your sister??- but it took forever to put them together, so I'm glad it's done. The shower should be wonderful- we're having it outside at the Oasis Winery (Matt, that's where we went after the East-West homecoming game with John Paul and everyone) and we're going to have a great picnic lunch. Yummy. Three words: Chocolate covered strawberries!! You can tell it's Lent. : )
I have to work on my paper tonight, so it'll be a boring night. Maybe I can get the girls to take a study break to go on a slurpee run. : )
