Caucus post

Well, our caucus was boring. There were more people than I expected, and I wound up working to sign people in and register a handful of new voters. I have been drafted to attend the county convention, but may pass that job off to an alternate. Did you see Gingrich? His ego, which is bigger than Iowa, has been damaged, and he's going to attack Romney and Paul out of nothing but spite. And Perry and Bachmann's people will line up behind Santorum for the short term. It's going to be a nasty few months.

As someone described it on a morning talk show, he was like something from "Apocalypse Now," climbing out of the jungle with a knife clenched in his teeth. Santorum is a nice boy, but Paul and Romney are evil bastards who dared to say bad things about the Newt, and they must DIE.

I'm paraphrasing, but it was pretty clear.
