Iowa court rules same sex couples can marry
It will probably be overturned by the state Supreme Court, but maybe not.
A few years ago, Iowa finally agreed to add the words "and women" to the state constitution. My kids and I still wear the t-shirts we wore during the campaign. I'd like to think that those two words guaranteeing equality helped with the judge's decision.
