Long Weekend plans changed AGAIN.
Just when I was planning a nice relaxing long weekend of events for myself, DH has announced he is probably going to be OK to drive to Canberra for the car rally after all. And I've just learned that the blokes have planned a visit to an adult book shop and emporium one day, the kind Canberra is famous for. A bit too explicit for my tastes, so might take a book to read in the car. I usually laugh all weekend at these events, the car club mob are a nice group of people and there is usually lots of wonderful silliness and pranking. This is an online club and the physical meetups are not too often, a bit like Australian Costume Guild , but for Subaru Forester cars. Before I go away (gosh it's only about 10 days now) I have so much sewing work to finish for clients, and none of it costume. Have to earn a bit of pin money though as I did buy a new sewing machine which I should contribute for, so I'd better stop procrastinating and get on with it. DH is still waiting to see his specialist in a few weeks, the MRI scan showed no major changes to his already damaged back so not sure why this recent flare up happened. Oh, and Happy Talk Like A Pirate Day to all who celebrate it. Aaarrrrgh!
