Busy week coming up. Makes me all the more ready for camp! This week I start doing home instruction for a teenage mother, I'll be teaching English and US History. It's going to be kind of on the fly, I'll meet her tomorrow at 3:30 and start teaching her from wherever her teacher left off. Kinda crazy. Then Open house on Wednesday, which I'm not at all ready for. At all. Friday I'm going to have a slumber party at my parents house -- mom and I will watch the Daytime Emmys while I do laundry, and then we'll go to Becky's birthday party in SF in the morning. My first night sleeping over at their house since I moved out, it'll probably be weird.
Oh, and I'm trying to recruit a kid for camp. He and his mom both want to do it, but his dad is very traditional and doesn't want his clearly talented son doing theatre. I'm trying to work on him though, because this kid rules and would be able to play a lead easily.
Less than a month until the read-thru, can't wait!
