You know, propper proper frock coats don't technically have outside pockets, but I don't think he cares. It is much more practical to defy what is fashionable so one has ample space to store all their emergency chemicals. After all, who knows when you might need some magnesium? Best to be prepared.
My pen-and-ink sketchbook is full of aimless character design sketches like this one, for all sorts of bookish people. Full body shots and outfits and all that. It's just... fun!

My bro was too busy recovering from wrist surgery to wish me a Happy Birthday today. Hmph.
