Ohh, I've been putting this here meme off for a while. Oops. So sue me, I spent all of yesterday baking. Mmm, ginger cookies with milky chai tea is simply divine. Now, to the questions! (kindly provided by

▪ Leave me a comment saying "Enjoy everything!"
▪ I'll respond by asking you five questions so I can satisfy my curiosity.
▪ Update your journal with the answers to the questions.
▪ include this explanation in the post and offer to ask other people questions.
1. What has been your favourite voice acting role so far?
I haven't done anything really major yet, so it's hard to say. I'm almost tempted to say the recurring character I play in Precure, just because I got to sing (and the director is pretty swell). In all honesty, though, I would likely say Yukino. She's so hard working and dedicated, calm and collected in the face of one embarrassing malaprop after another, and got totally kicked in the metaphorical shins come episode 16.
Oh, and one another character that I'm not supposed to talk about. I thought she'd be a no-nonsense type, but she's really more of a deadpan snarker. Ahh, I want to be in a comedy show! I'm no good when I have to be quiet. Being silly is what I do best.
2. What is one game that you could just not finish, or was so frustrated by the time you finished it that you haven't played it since?
You know, I have an awful habit of not finishing games, period, regardless of quality. I often get to riiiight before the end, and then make no attempt what so ever to complete them. I think it may be because I don't like the idea of the story being over.
Maybe Ecco the Dolphin. Being constantly timed with the threat of drowning? I'll pass. I never did get far enough to reach, if you'll excuse the term, "Autoscrolling Hell", I believe it's called. In games, if one can die by being squished, then that will probably be one of my most common causes of death (hello, Sonic). Five minutes dealing with the danger of squishy death, and being sent back to the start should I make a mistake and swim into a dead end? Perhaps not.
3. Would you ever try post-secondary again? If so where would you go and what would you want to major in?
Maybe an art school that isn't soul crushing, I don't know. So many things I want to do. How else will I ever get an original comic published and be a widely respected game designer and be the first person to play DDR in space?
I have to figure out what sort of magic the girls in Azumanga Daioh/Hidamari Sketch/K-On! etc are weaving in order to assemble unbeatable groups of Bestest Buddiest in order to combat the beast that is School.
I didn't really answer the question, did I? I know I want to improve my art, but I'm not sure where to go about doing that. I don't do very well in classroom environments since I have trouble connecting with strangers.
4. Favourite video game character?
Oh, don't make me choose. Are you going to make me choose? Bother.
Hmm... Luigi. I could say Mario, seeing as he headlines my favourite video game series of all time, but Luigi is the superior of the two. Also green. I like green. Maybe Bowser can come in second, since he's easily my favourite video game villain, and that must count for something.
5. What is one anime you haven't watched yet but really, really want to?
Hmm, good question. As I am with books, I am phenomenally picky. Why, I can't seem to watch something if I don't like the art. No, not just that, I can't watch something if I don't like the way it's animated, too.
I know I'd love to see the charming, award-winning, fabulous either dubbed or subbed adaptation of my Chef Pekoe series, lovingly animated by KyoAni, with the excellent OST and the line of adorable merchandise, complete with Nendoroid-ization of the main character, a spinoff OVA and --
What do you mean, it doesn't exist?! What a shame.
I've always wanted to see
Cat Soup. How could I possibly pass up something that bizarre? Serial Experiments Lain, that too. I've seen some of it, and was sufficiently intrigued, but the video store only has the first volume. I'd love to see more Captain Harlock, or Lupin III. G4TV didn't air nearly enough, boo. Oh, and the second season of Haruhi Suzumiya. Never got around to that.
Sometimes, when I can't seem to drift off, I find odd ways to pass the time late into the night. Cartoons, Wikipedia, TV Tropes, Picture Logic, anything where I can plonk myself down and let my eyes slowly glaze over. Sometimes, though, I come across something gripping and can't seem to pull myself away 'till it's three in the morning, whoops. See, that's precisely why I try not to whip out a good book when it's late at night, but anyway.
I spent all night reading
a rather engaging Let's Play of Quest 64. Yes, that Quest 64, the poor little N64 RPG that could have been so much, but fell so flat (albeit with a wicked ahoge). Never did beat that game, but then again, I only rented it once, years ago.
That Let's Play endeared itself to me, because (aside from the good story) it was an echo of a favoured hobby of mine: taking games with little-to-no-plot and extrapolating. I mean, when you spend hours running around in virtually-featureless fields killing hapless bunny rabbits or whatever low-level monsters are de rigueur for the game at hand, a overactive imagination is all one can use in order to keep their brain from devouring itself out of intense boredom. I largely enjoyed FFI and Etrian Odyssey because of this. Worked on character development while I level grinded; in fact, some of my original characters became far more developed after I named my FFI heroes after them (the dull Red Mage, alas, was simply given a throwaway name and never heard from again. Sweet hat, though).
I recommend it to any aspiring writers who don't mind a lengthy RPG (and/or having their rear ends soundly kicked by F.O.E.s, if we're talking Etrian Odyssey). Anyway. What was I going on about? Oh yes, crackin' fun Let's Play, reminded me of a detective story I plotted out during NaNo (only with less detecting, more magic, and 48% more ridiculous hairs). Very nice, how they worked in that ARRRRGH Blue Cave. I couldn't possibly think of anything more fitting.
