Great weekend - Long entry
So this weekend was pretty awesome, minus the whole sunburn. But this entry isn't about that. It's inspired by a little(well if about 2 hour is little) conversation I had with Riley last night:
Very few of us ever think to go out of our way to say a compliment about our closest friends. Obviously they know we love them to death and couldn't possibly live without them, but just a little something about them that we never really mentioned. So here it goes guys, and I definitely hope this catches on, say one nice meaningful thing about each of your friends and hopefully that nice thing picks up their day.
In alphabetical order:
Andrea - I love how you make me come out of my shell and how you always make me laugh, even if I don't really feel like it.
Anthony - You're extremely talented musically and New Years was awesome, hopefully we can have another time like that soon.
Blake - I love that you can always make light of a situation and even though I don't see you nearly enough we can always find something to laught about. You're extremely beautiful and I'll always love you, even if you call adam viniteri adam varitek once in a while.
Brenna - First of all, I am going to miss you like crazy when you move to Florida and I really hope you know that no matter what seems to happen between our friends you are always going to be an important part of my life. I love how we can have random fun hanging by the pool. Also I love how dedicated to running you are, very few people are that crazy haha.
Caroline (G)- You have probably one of the most beautful voices I know of. Even though we rag on each other quite a bit I love you very much and there really isn't anyone I'd rather spend 3+ hours a day with during musical season. Also I love that you always know whats going on... even though I sometimes bug you for it.
Caroline (T) - I love how you're amazing to go to for advice and you always try to make it better even if you're not sure how to go about it. You're also so stunningly beautiful and I cannot wait for Maine ect this summer!
Dan- Even though we went through that period where you were so kind as to pour mountian dew over my head, I always have hilarious times/conversations with you. You definitely make my day brighter with our hilarious conversations.
Erin - Clearly you are probably the best friend I have. I love to just hang out with you and forget about life for a while. I especially appreicated it the day my mom had surgery, it was really nice to not have to think about it and to just play cards and do nothing but laugh. I love you to death and will visit you anytime you happen to go to camp... even if you arent going this summer. "Good friends let you hang out at their house while your brother has his birthday party at the Science Museum. BEST friends say 'Screw That' and go with you to the Musuem to sing happy birthday at the top of her lungs."
Emily- I love how you're always extremely nice to every one. I loved spending every waking moment of this week with you. You light up a room with your smile and just are generally amazing.
Eric - Despite our minor squabbles in late April, you really are awesome and an extremely talented musician. Even if I can't stand your music taste you're great at what you do.
Jackie Ro- Spending last summer with you at C-ville was awesome. You always make things really fun and I love your entire family as well. I really was proud of how you never lost your cool despite our devil children and even made it laughable. I hope you always "crash and burn up the scale of life"
Jackie W- I don't think I have every heard of anyone disliking you. You are so extremely nice and I love spending soccer season with you. You are always my reason to go a little bit faster and to finish hard. You're an amazing soccer star.
Jess- There are very few people I know who are as captivatingly beautiful as you are. You always help me to have fun, especially when you took me to the mall the day I didn't end up going to the cape and before Kendra's party, making me feel comfortable even though I was so worried to see Paul again. Thanks for the friendship and I really hope it continues for a long time.
Kendra- I really want to thank you for all the advice and for listening to me cry over the phone. I really appreciate all of the advice you gave me and the stupid conversation that finally got me to sleep on those horrible nights. Thank you so much.
Lauren - It's definitely sad that I don't see as much of you lately due to our schedules, but I loved hanging out with you in study/chorus along with the other cult hotties and taking smack about some "cool" guy we know. You always make me laugh and I have to say.. you look amazing in my clothes.
Lexie - Despite being extremely quiet, when you do speak you tend to say really funny/interesting things. You are really pretty and a pretty good dancer as well. Scott's party and Mini golfing were awesome, I really hope we can do more fun things in the future.
Lindsay - You really made me feel welcome at Moffa's sweet sixteen when I didn't know anyone on our end of the table and you took time to tell me names. I really appreciate you taking time to do that and just generally being a cool friend like that.
Liz- I love it when you laugh so hard you snort. It's a really adorable thing. But more importantly I love having random times with you in school and just great conversations because we can definitely talk about anything. You're really goregous as well.
Paul - I love that you are always there for me, even if you don't necessarilly want to do what I'm asking. We always have great conversations. You probably know the absolute most about me and I love having someone so important to me to confide in. I also love that you are comfortable sharing everything with me and I'll always love you for all that you are to me.
Riley- First off, thank you for being the inspiration to this little list. You are an awesome person to talk to and I'm really glad you called me. I really like how open we are to each other and that it doesn't really seem like we have to put up a front with one another. You're a really fanastic person and I hope you never change.
Scott- You are one of the smartest people I know, hands down. I really appreciate everytime you have helped me with chemistry or put up with my bitching about school/grades(even if I really shouldn't be complaining in the first place). You are really kind and selfless and I've never heard anyone say an actual bad thing about you.
Sean- You may be quiet but you also make for some hilarious times. Last summer was great and I really hope that the good times continue as they have all year.
Stacey- First I want to thank you for putting up with my tears in your car. I'm so lucky to have a friend like you to laugh or cry with and of course dance around the car in. I love taking random drives with you and your personality is just amazing. Thanks for all the awesome advice, and of course the rides.
Tim- First of all you are an amazing dancer/ semi date. Thanks so much for all you did for me that night I really appreicate it. I'm so glad I became close friends with you last summer and you can always make me laugh with a rave dance or just a funny comment.
So that pretty much wraps it up. I love you all so much. I'm so extremely sorry if I left you off this list and I'm sure it was just a blind mistake so please tell me. And spread the love everyone!
