(no subject)
listening to the great gatsby on audio book. started listening to middle sex but not sure if im going to finish it. i picked up a lion among men on audio book because i had started reading it and couldnt get that into it. maybe listening will be easier.
Started knitting again. ill probably start going back to market night around thanks giving. if summer ever stops. i think it will be 85 up until its 60 all day.
We're gonna take out a tree in the front yard. the fruitless mullberry. the kind that you are suppose to cut down to the knubs each season? yeah, no. those things are ugly. and this one was never trimmed. then trimmed once, horribly, after the people died. so its all messed up. and for some reason the old man chained two branched together and then cemented the V connector part. haha. our next door neighbor told me all this. and he said also, that the chaining wasnt a FIX but a preventative thing. and the onld man belived in cementing trees. ...
So, we're gonna have a guy come out and remove that tree and grind the stump out as well so we can dig up the grass, cap back the sprinklers, cut the curb and make a secondary driveway. that way no one has to park on the weird curved street, and we dont have to stack the cars single file down the skinny drive.
we are thinking about fencing the front yard as well. seeing as two of our cars have been broken into. just a cute 4ft. picket fence or something. but someeeething. we'll have to check city rules through for how far back the fence has to be from the edge of the property for future sidewalks and shit. we'll prolly just pour our own side walk and be done with it.
i need to buy a big shed and make it my yarn studio. CAT HAIR FREE. god im tired of cat hair. knock down the old shed, since it leaks. pour the rest of the concrete across the back of the garage. put the shed on the new concrete and have a little shed patio. if we ever get the pool set up it would make a nice changing room as well.
