could not be happier right now.
confirmed place to live in new orleans-- perfect location, great price, and i sent a friend, hope, from americorps to check it out today and she called me after talking to my new roommates for three hours-- one's a community organizer, he used to work at the place they work now (art egg), the other is a very easygoing recent journalism graduate, both came to new orleans to volunteer, that's why they offered me the room....
i might work on green building stuff with hope and craig while waiting for spring breakers to clear out.
oh yeah, and i got accepted to prescott college. they phoned me! and gave me amazing scholarships.
the only thing keeping me from new orleans is this car repair which should be complete by wednesday or thursday.
right now i am drinking killigan's in brooklyn with my americorps roommate sarah.
