Goodness its been forever! But that's just because I've been far too preoccupied and stressed out about billions of little things. But I think I'm going to be ok for awhile now.
Firstly, Happy Halloween!
Secondly, no field hockey today! sweeeet
Thirdly, retreat was inexplainable. Seriously, I could write 59345893045836 words about it and I still wouldn't be able to convey the experience to anyone who wasn't there. It's just this like remarkable experience, its like you're in a different world for three days. But I wish i could stay there for ever and ever. But since I can't, I might as well share some highlights.
- John & Ben's creative genius
- listening to Ben sing like Jaime Foxx
- Dan Rather? in a skirt?
- British people? and bank robbers? and euros? and saints? and mild pornography? huhhhhhh
- going to bed at 330 in the morning
- getting a FANTASTIC (not) wake up at 4 in the morning from my bestest friend ever
- writing mad letters...seriously, like 12
- watching the interpretive dance/painting show
- snowwww
- walking "right around the corner" in the snow/rain
- Flannery
- prayer of the faithful wars
- kevin + lighter fluid
- Flannery and Jean
- morning mass...and that intenseee singing
- Ben's friendship bracelets
- Sean being the best prayer partner everr
and loads and loads more of the silly stuff, but also a ton of really serious stuff, like after confession when you'd walk around and just see people crying everywhere. but crying isn't always a bad thing, neither is letting people know how you're feeling. go figure! but yes, it was definately unforgettable, and i wish i could go back like, now.
but i also learned i loveee all of you, seriously.
