Atlanta Lolitas Loliday Coffee Party
For LoliDay, bunnyko planned a coffee party. Her and her boyfriend are coffee nuts, and they both used to work at Starbuck's. They planned a coffee tasting and bunnyko took the time to give a little lesson on how to tastes coffee and what kinds of coffee come from different parts of the world.
We had a small group because some of the people who were supposed to come canceled at the last minute, but we had a fun meet up anyway!
All of these pictures were taken by scary_mary.... except the ones where she's in them, and then they're by me or someone else. However, they all came from her camera. She's my roommate, and she's a photography major. She's not a lolita, but she likes to sport the occasional poofy dress if I let her borrow one. She makes a really adorable lolita though, don't you think?
Everyone was required to bring 1/2lbs of their favorite coffee or a snack to share. scary_mary made rainbow cupcakes, and I made brownie cupcakes with vanilla buttercream icing and chocolate chips. Since my husband came, I also brought 1/2lbs of my favorite coffee from a local coffee house, Dancing Goats.
Here you can see the cookies that amethystcitrine brought as well as the wonderful coffee setup bunnyko had made.
We had a fun time sampling scary_mary's cupcakes since the insides were all different colors. They were so pretty! Here's bunnyko showing one off!
Bunny's boy Sean just popped the whole cupcake in he mouth all at once!
I ended out making this ridiculous face since I was trying not to muck up my red lipstick. XD
bunnyko made these cute little ice-cream treats. Aren't they adorable?
After we had waaay too much caffeine and sugar, it was time to go outside and take some pictures!
seimi_chan had to leave early, but it was nice that she came. Her outfit is handmade, and I have to say, it's pretty awesome considering that she's 13!

I ended out making this ridiculous face since I was trying not to muck up my red lipstick. XD

amethystcitrine had to get off to a wedding, so we only got a couple of pictures of her, but she was looking lovely in her Mary Magdelene dress.
bunnyko was debuting her steampunk lolita outfit. She's supposed to be a steampunk barista. Cute, no?
scary_mary wore one of my designs, though the tights and shoes were her own.
I wore a coffee skirt I made a few years ago, though I made a new headbow to go with it. I was trying to cover up my terrible roots, so please excuse the kind of odd positioning on my head. XD
I didn't really have any lolita shoes that matched, so I ended out making some matching shoe clips. I think it worked out okay.
mastergode was looking dapper~
hagus25 was also looking dapper, but I don't think he wanted anyone to know.
Apparently checking the time is contagious!
scary_mary likes two things. Pictures of people jumping, and moving gifs, so here's a bunch!
Apparently, I would like to eat bunnyko's head. Clearly, I've had too much caffeine!
scary_mary wanted to get some pictures with hagus25's hearse.
So, bunnyko and I got in on the action, but we had a hard time making nice faces since it was soooo hot out!

From all of the other posts, it looks like a lot of other people had a nice LoliDay, but I hope everyone else did! I know we had fun! ^_^
