It is absolutely, UTTERLY vital to sit down and iron out an agreement about diaper-changing, preferably before the baby is born. It's really fucking stupid to still be arguing about it after two years.
Also? Television is not as important as a child. Changing a wet-only diaper takes maybe two minutes, tops, if everything goes right. (Yes, I have experience. Not a lot, but some.) For fuck's sake, you can even change the kid on the living-room floor if it's too much to ask to be out of the same room as the TV!
