Guh. This is all Finch's fault.

I just downloaded a song by someone who I guess was the runner-up on the last season of American Idol -- Adam Lambert, the one that I could have told you was gay waaaaaaaay before it was "news" in US Magazine and I don't even watch that stupid show -- because of him.

This brings my total of Finch/Herbert Songs to an official four, and they're all Finch - The Sharpest Lives, No Boundaries, and You're Going Down, and an untitled song which doesn't actually exist by a band that probably doesn't exist either (Fictional Music FTW?).

No Boundaries only kind-of a Finch song, since I'm pretty sure he's never going to be quite as, ah... Triumphal as the protagonist of the song. You're Going Down fits him more completely, and the first half of the chorus of The Sharpest Lives could have been written for him specifically.

And Herbert has no music, because I have no idea what kind of music would fit him. It would have to be something that sounds pleasant and normal at first, but the longer you listen to it the more you realize that the words are all kind of strange and slightly to moderately off-kilter. Like They Might Be Giants if they were a Goth/Emo band, maybe? Or maybe just heavy metal or something. On the other hand, it may be that Herbert's not a modern-music type; maybe he's more of a classical guy... Or maybe electronica/instrumentals? *Pokes him* Dude, talk to me about music.

do you ever shut up?, blithering about characters, raaaaaandom, why are you telling me this?, music, writing, blithering
